My Moment of Glory and other random things

I'm seriously late in posting this, but it had to be posted! I was officially famous for the month of January! If you turn to page 68 in January's Self Magazine you find this: Yes folks! That's yours truly! I was super excited to be chosen to be put in my favorite magazine, even though my stats are the lowest on the page. Oh well. I was famous for a month! (my scanner wouldn't work, which is why the picture is so fuzzy.)
Jon is mister fix-it at our house. He put in all the fans and automatic garage door opener when we first moved in and 6 months later we are finally putting up blinds. We gave in and purchased the $5 blinds, but hey, we finally have privacy. It's still a project in the works thanks to tests and quizes finally popping up, but we are halfway there to complete privacy!

Okay, I realize this picture is totally sideways, but oh well. This is Sevy and Kenzi at the park today. It was a balmy 75* day and they enjoyed the sun and riding Sev's bike! They are hilarious together!
We went to the zoo on Wednesday and do you notice anything odd about this pirhana? He's missing an eye! Weird huh?!? We've been going for months and I only noticed it this week. It deserved a blog comment!

Another park picture from today. I loved the way it looked looking up the slide at my daredevil child, but it was too bright to show the real coolness of the shot. One day I will be an awesome photographer . . . until then, this will do!

And here is my big boy! Jon likes to dress him up--hence the sweat bands and Sevy's bike helmut. He sits up like a champ now and is the happiest kiddo (at times)! He cracks me up . . . of course I'm the center of his world and it's fun to be loved so thoroughly . . . but he's just too cute!

Good job on the blinds. We are still working on that. I just noticed that in the Christmas picture of all of us were wearing glasses, except Katrina. I do not know what my point is, but maybe we could get you some glasses.

Smelly Kat that's so cool you were in that magazine. I was in the friend when I was 8...not as cool as you...but close right? :)
Jeremy's cousin lives in Houston and just posted about going to the zoo today too. I can't believe it's so warm there! Not fair!

I think all my cousins are famous for some reason or another.

I just thought I would tell you that every picture that Avery sees of a baby or a little boy, she identifies that child as "Teik!" She has no idea who anyone else is in the picture (even if it's her and Drew), but she can always find a Teik.

So what is your story? And did you mention that you were pregnant and lost the baby weight? Silly.

Wow! In a magazine after two kids! That is amazing. I need to get doing what you are doing - maybe if I practice for the next few months the weight will just fly off after the baby!

Your kids are so cute. I thought the picture of Tiek in the bike helmet was one of those head shaping helmets-glad his head is normal and your husband was just playing around. We've missed you on the forum-people are asking where you've gone to. Hope you're doing well!
