So this was the first weekend in ages that Jon did not have anything to do, and I was totally stoked because that meant we could do something fun . . . or at least overhaul our apartment. Well, Friday night we went out to eat with some friends of ours at one of our favorite resturaunts and we ate the best chips and salsa and then I ordered my favorite meal from there. Afterwards we were going to go play games but once we got to the car, I wasn't feeling so great and told Jon I needed to go home. We called and apologized to our friends and got home and 10 minutes later I lost my dinner. The rest of the night for me was spent tossing in bed and rushing to the bathroom. Not fun. Jon took care of Sevy and put her to bed and stayed up playing video games when he saw her wandering around at like 2 am. He got her back in bed and an hour or so later, she puked. Poor guy had to clean her all by himself and change her sheets and bathe her and put her back in bed. Two hours later, it happened again. Poor Jon! Somehow, he managed to spend the night cleaning and caring for the two sick girls in the household that shared a meal and because of it shared food poisoning! Thankfully, Sevy was great by the next morning. I still didn't feel so hot, so Jon still took care of me and got me 7-up and made me toast and things. I felt so bad like I had starved our poor unborn child. I'm just glad Jon ignored me when I tried to get him to finish my burrito, and that he is the type of guy willing to clean up puke! He is definetely my Super Man!

Oh man, I had the flu when I was pregnant too. I thought it was just some more (super bad) morning sickness... but when I couldn't function at work and threw up on the side of the freeway on my way home I knew it must be something else. I totally felt like I was starving my baby! ha ha But at 8.5 pounds when he was born I dont think it effected him at all. Hang in there! :-)
He is pretty super isn't he? I'm sorry you had a crummy weekend--good thing Jon was able to take care of his girls.
Oh that totally sucks. Luckily you have a wonderful caring husband. Kat I guess this means it will be a while before you eat your favorite meal from that resutant. Don't worry that baby inside of you is really resilliant, and can stand a meal or to off of your storage unit. We hope you are feeling better now.
Man! Pregnant women and two years old just can't catch a break...just poisoning! Cute Jon though. Go dads who know how to take care of their family! I hope you are feeling better now and maybe you'll get a Jon's free weekend again soon only this time you won't have to spend it in the bathroom.
What a nice hubby! I would have loved to have seen Jon doing that. :) I hope everyone is well.
Wow! That sounded really horrible, I'm so sorry you and Sevy were so sick with it. Big applaud though for Jon! I don't many guys would have done as thorough a job of cleaning up 2 pf their toddlers pukey messes in the middle of the night without a complaint! Thank goodness for wonderful husbands!
Katrina!!!! I found you on Jenni's blog and I'm so happy to see what you've been up to, minus the whole ralphing bit. I'm sorry you were sick. That stinks. Your family is beautiful and how exciting to be adding another member. Also, so many familiar faces on this comment page (Ner, Kalle, Sara), crazy! I miss you lots and hope the blogging world will keep us in better touch.
Your husband looks just like Dane Cook the comedian...just in case you hadn't heard that before. Funny guy! Sometimes!
